University Undergraduate Study Program in Culture and Tourism offers the interdisciplinary theoretical basis for culture and tourism on the university level combined with some basic skills and activities necessary for practical usage within the domain. The interdisciplinary approach is a reflection of omnipresent updated development tendencies in tourism today, thus the program deals with the challenges of sustainable valorization of heritage for tourist purposes. In the thematic core of this study is a contemporary individual who strives towards the improvement of his/her vacation by getting acquainted with people, culture, cultural and historical monuments, literature, economy, gastronomy and other aspects of identity. The study includes both regular and part-time students and candidates of different ages. With the completion of a three-year study (6 semesters), the title of University Bachelor of Culture and Tourism is acquired.
University Undergraduate Study in Culture and Tourism aims at developing students’ intercultural competencies required in various organizations of culture and tourism in the intercultural environment. The degree facilitates the independent approach to knowledge and skills necessary for planning and strategically developing documents, working in teams, participating in interdisciplinary projects and researches and creating innovative culture and tourism products. It also enables the candidates to create more complex tourist arrangements in the field of destination management companies drawing from the foundation of cultural tourism products.

- Independently create updated and complex culture and tourism products
- Solve problems within a multidisciplinary context in a creative and innovative way
